As anyone who has come to Bookswap recently knows, the Bookswap is undergoing growing pains. Students with old editions are being turned away and owners are being contacted to reclaim their books. The cause? Textbook changes and a growing mountain of unsellable texts. The solution? The Tau Beta Pi Firesale!
First conceived in 2003, The Firesale is a three-day outdoor "selloff" of old textbooks. Overstocked inventory has been identified and marked down to dollar prices. The inventory will be relocated to a tent on Case Quad and put up for sale. All members of the Case community are invited to check out the event in search of great bargains.
The FireSale will allow us to free up shelf space for the newest editions, while leaving you secure with the knowledge that the textbooks at Bookswap are the most current ones. Be sure to check it out!
